Last week Copilot Capital CEOs, CFOs, CTOs and CROs sat down together for the first time. The premise was simple: the people best placed to share insights and learnings were already in the room. Our job was to get out of the way and let them talk.
Hosted at Monkey Island Estate in Berkshire we brought together senior leaders from Relesys, SecureFlag, PriceShape and Zendr. They all share a lot in common; they are B2B software companies that are growing strongly, operating in deep verticals and building AI products for their customers. But they had never had the chance to sit down all together.
The conversations that came out of it (on AI, hiring senior talent, scaling sales motions) were sharper and more relevant than any agenda we could have designed.It's rare in PE to create this kind of space and opportunity for portfolio companies to network and share learnings but it should be the norm and not the exception.
